Salmos 6

1 «To the chief Musician on Neginoth upon Sheminith, A Psalm of David.» O LORD,Though I deserve destruction, yet let your mercy pity my frailty.rebuke me not in thine anger, neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I [am] weak: O LORD, heal me; for myFor my whole strength is abated.bones are vexed.

3 His conscience is also touched with the fear of God's judgment.My soul is also sore vexed: but thou, O LORD, how long?

4 Returne, O Lord: deliuer my soule: saue me for thy mercies sake.

5 For inHe laments that opportunity should be taken from him to praise God in the congregation.death [there is] no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

6 I fainted in my mourning: I cause my bed euery night to swimme, and water my couch with my teares.

7 Mine eye is dimmed for despight, and sunke in because of all mine enemies.

8 God sends comfort and boldness in affliction, that we may triumph over our enemies.Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the LORD hath heard the voice of my weeping.

9 The Lord hath heard my petition: the Lord will receiue my prayer.

10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return [and] be ashamedWhen the wicked think the godly will perish, God delivers them suddenly, and destroys their enemies.suddenly.
