Oséias 3

¹ Jehovah said to me: »Go again and love a woman beloved by her friend. Love an adulteress, even as Jehovah loves the children of Israel. Though they turn to other gods, and love cakes of raisins for feasts.«

² So I bought her for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley.

³ I said to her: »You will live with me many days. You must not play the harlot commit fornication and you must not be any man’s wife. I will also be with you.«

⁴ For the children of Israel will live many days without king, without prince, without sacrifice, without pillar, and without ephod or teraphim.

⁵ Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek Jehovah their God. David their king will come with trembling to Jehovah and to his goodness in the last days.
