Apocalipse 5

¹ And I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne, a scroll written within and without, sealed with seven seals.

² And I saw a mighty messenger proclaiming with a great voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll, and to loose its seals?

³ And one in heaven, nor upon the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the scroll, or to look into it.

⁴ And I wept abundantly, because no one was found worthy to open the scroll, nor to look into it.

⁵ And one of the elders said to me, Weep not; behold the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and its seven seals.

⁶ And I beheld, in the middle space, between the throne and the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, there stood a Lamb, which seemed to have been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes; these are the seven Spirits of God, sent forth into all the earth.

⁷ And he came and took the scroll out of the right hand of him who sat upon the throne.

⁸ And when he received the scroll, the four living creatures, and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one harps, and golden vials full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.

⁹ And they sung a new song, saying, Worthy art thou to take the scroll, and to open the seals of it; for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation;

¹⁰ and hast made us, to our God, kings and priests: and we shall reign on earth.

¹¹ And I beheld, and heard the voice of many angels round about the throne, and of the living creatures, and of the elders: and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands;

¹² saying, with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive power and riches, and wisdom, and might, and honor, and glory, and blessing!

¹³ And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, even all things that are in them, I heard saying, To him who sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb be blessing, and honor, and glory, and strength, for ever and ever!

¹⁴ And the four living creatures said, Amen: and the elders fell down and worshiped him.
